Examinations were held in April/ May after two years. The last two batches of Class X cleared SEE without having to appear for exams due to the COVID pandemic. The last two batches passed out after students were evaluated internally by their respective schools.A total of 518,351 students, including 260,878 girls and 259,486 boys from 11,615 schools, had registered for the exams. Of them, 22,640 (4.57 per cent) didn’t appear for the exams. Under the Grade Point Average system, 9,633 students (1.94 per cent) – 5,281 boys and 4,352 girls – scored A-plus. The number is 2.88 percentage points less than in 2019.
